Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report:

New Business:
Road Maintenance Issues: The county owns most of the roads except for the tributary roads. County had Bond with contractor and let it expire and county is in a poor financial state to benefit pursuing legally. Brian Heuser met with Danny Hale, Road Superintendent for Dekalb county. Enrique has asked owners to call the county and complain about the road issue hoping with numerous people calling for action will have positive results.
Website needs to be updated: Sharon has suggested a new more user’s friendly platform enabling owners and public/realtors to access greater information. Brian initiated a budget of no more than $2,500 to get this service done. Bert Laws has volunteered his time and skills to help Sharon with the current site in the meantime.

Amending the Bylaws: To amend bi-laws it takes a vote of 50% + 1, to increased dues take 75%. The association wishes to take another vote in early fall to amend the bylaws is to raise funds for the following…
- Advocate as an association to the county for much needed road work, paving, sealant, gravel, etc.
- Change the clause to amend the vote to 50% +1 to raise dues and assessments.
- Update the language of the “commercial uses” clause.
- Update the Harbor Pointe entrance sign by perusing bids for improvements, capped at $2,500 before contributions.
Brian Heuser calls for motion for amendments, was seconded.

Member Issues:
- Lot 9 building a primitive hunting cabin. Debris is collecting on this lot, and he continues to dump on the lot.
- Lot 2 and/or 3 is starting excavation and gravel is out into the street.
- Board will send registered letters with copies of bylaws to both lot owners.
- Maintenance of sides of roads, spraying or mowing.
Board will inform county for their roads and association will be more proactive for maintenance. - Lot next to the Arevalos’ (Morton’s) cutting trees, dumping gravel and had unattended fire.
