The annual meeting of the Harbor Pointe Homeowners Association was held at the home of Bill and Sharon Sheriff on February 28, 2012. Lot owners present were: Enrique Arevalos, Jordan Asher, Steve Clifton, Don Duda, Jim Kelly, Janice and Randal Mashburn, Tracy McMurtry, Yoli and Pete Redero, Bill and Sharon Sheriff, Lori Shulman, and Sid Weissend.
It was noted that notice by mail was given to all property owners of record of the meeting and that those present in person and proxy constituted a quorum for the meeting. Enrique Arevalos, President of the association, called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved as read. The treasure’s report was given by Jim Kelly and was accepted.
The Architecture Review Committee reported that there were no new homes beginning considered. Wayne and Janet Philpot, Lot 99, have withdrawn their plans.
The delinquent annual assessments were discussed. An updated list will be made and we will contact our attorney to start legal action. 64% of the lot owners have paid the annual assessment.
The current web site was discussed. Steve Clifton made the motion and Jim Kelly seconded it that Sharon Sheriff research hiring a web site developer who can fully develop our site. The results will be brought to the board for discussion and decision. The current web site is: harborpointecenterhill.com and the password is hplakehouse025.
The next item of business was the election of three directors for two year terms each to fill the positions expiring this year: Enrique Arevalos, Jim Kelly and Yoli Redero. Motion was made by Steve Clifton and seconded by Jordan Asher that Enrique Arevalos, Jim Kelly and Yoli Redero be re-elected. Motion carried.
There being no further formal business the meeting was adjourned.
