MINUTES OF HARBOR POINTE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
FEBRUARY 15, 2017
The annual meeting of the Harbor pointe Property Owners Association was held on February 15, 2017 at the home of Bill and Sharon Sheriff. Lot owners present were: Enrique and Sandy Arevalos, Jordan Asher and Jodie Mattison, Jim and Catherine Kelly, and Rory and Abby Lithgow and Sharon Sheriff. It was noted that notice was given by mail to all property owners of record of the meeting and that those present and by proxy constituted a quorum for the meeting. Enrique, President of the association, called the meeting to order.
The minutes were approved as recorded. The treasure’s report was presented by Jim Kelly, treasurer and accepted.
Next was a discussion surrounding the Architectural Committee. A draft of a revised Manual of Standards had been completed as well as an Application Request Form. The Board Chair will talk to Kyle Hazel about chairing the Manual of Standards and the Application request forms committee. Further assuming Kyle accepts the committee chair, the committee would be charged with completing a final version and editing of the Manual of Standards and Application.
A discussion then followed regarding rentals in Harbor Pointe. Jim Kelly will write a letter to Ben Rose concerning property being rented. He will request contact information should an owner need to get in touch with him or property management company. We will inform the homeowners that if they rent their property they will be responsible for any compliance issues.
Also discussed was the sliding of dirt along lots #106 & 107, Tim and Lori Shulman. The slide is covering the drainage easement and part of the road. Catherine Kelly will write a letter to the Shulman concerning the problem.
The next order of business was the election of 2 people to the Board as Kelly Mason and Sharon Sheriff rotate off. A motion was made by Catherine Kelly that Sharon Sheriff be re-elected and Kyle Hazel be elected to the Board to replace Kelly Mason. The motion was seconded by Jordan Asher. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
Respectfully submitted
Sharon Sheriff
Secretary
